OUR DEACONS

In addition to the office of elder/pastor, the New Testament establishes the role of deacons in the life of the church. Deacons are recognized by the congregation as church officers given authority to help serve the physical needs of those within the church body and to promote the unity of its members (see Acts 6:1-7; 1 Timothy 3:8-13). Additionally, these individuals were appointed in the New Testament so that the elders of the church might devote themselves fully to ministry of the Word and prayer.

Ben has been a deacon at Bellepoint since 2018. Ben also leads Bellepoint’s corporate music ministry. He and his wife, Leslie, have five children.
